EVENT: The Prince George Education & Career Fair

WHERE: PG Civic Centre
MORE: Going into its 15th year, the Education and Career Fairs have grown from the original two fairs in Vancouver and Surrey and expanded into new regions, including Vancouver Island and the BC Interior. Having hosted over 50 fairs, the largest career planning event in Western Canada and has expanded, this time into Northern, BC with its new event in Prince George!
ECF's mission is to provide visitors the opportunity to develop their career path. Whether you are still in high school, looking for a job, or looking to make a career change – your future begins here! Admission is $5 but there is coupon online for free admission after 12pm.

25th Annual Iceman

EVENT: 25th Annual  Iceman
WHEN: February 12th, 2011
ENTRY DEADLINE: 9:00PM Wednesday February 8th
MORE: The 25th edition of the Prince George Iceman is happening on February 12th. As you know, the Iceman is an opportunity for athletes of all ability levels to participate in a variety of winter sports celebrating community, family and fun!  The Iceman was mentioned in Canada Explore Magazine as one of the top 50 things to do in winter! In past years this event has averaged over 700 participants, with the crowd at the awards banquet topping 1100 people when athletes, volunteers, supporters and spectators fill the Prince George Civic Centre.
