The Lakes District Tragedy Relief Fund
The Burns Lake Rotary Club is accepting donations for the Lakes District Tragedy Relief Fund. The Rotary Club will also be organizing a benefit on Saturday, February 4th with proceeds to assist the Lakes District Tragedy Relief Fund over the coming weeks and months as that community deals with the challenges brought on by the devastating fire and explosion at Babine Forest Products in Burns Lake.

Donations may be made to the Burns Lake Rotary Club/Lakes District Tragedy Fund at PO Box 616, Burns Lake, BC, V0J 1E0, or online (Using PayPal, VISA or Mastercard) at www.rotaryburnslake.org. Also donations can be made at any CIBC branch in British Columbia.

Donations for the benefit and silent auction would be gratefully accepted. Please contact Terri Dickson at 250-695-6684.

EVENT: The Ultimate Deep Purple Experience Auction in support of the Lakes District Tragedy Relief Fund
WHEN: Friday February 3 from 6am – 5:40pm, winning bid will be announced at 5:45pm
MORE: 99.3 The Drive, Paul Mercs Concerts and Deep Purple are proud to come together and help raise funds and awareness for the victims and families in Burns Lake affected by the devastating mill explosion. On Friday February 3rd 99.3 The Drive will be auctioning off the Ultimate Deep Purple Experience: An Epiphone Les Paul Special II signed by the band, a music library and a pair of tickets with meet and greet to Deep Purple February 23rd at the CN Centre! All proceeds from the auction will go to Lakes District Tragedy Relief Fund. Cash Donations can also be brought to the CN Centre on February 23rd.
