It was an odd situation last week on twitter and no, it wasn’t about Trump. Last week it seemed a group of Lady Gaga fans took to social media to promote “A Star Is Born” and bad mouth “Venom”. Using a near carbon copy formula on Twitter, the goal was to try to entice movie goers to the opening of the musical romantic drama instead of the Action Anit/Hero flick. It didn’t work. In fact it might have done the opposite. “Venom” is broken records for box office openings in October. Exceeding $200 million in the opening weekend while the Bradley Cooper/Lady Gaga earned over $50 million.
In the other part of the Marvel Universe, Chris Evans has been dropping some hints as to a major plot point in the next Avengers movie. The actor has been on Twitter, thanking his fans and the studio for giving him the chance to be “Captain American” for many years. Evans was also sharing stories about his favorite moments and touching events. Could we be looking at the end of Evans as the shielded hero?
