You know you have a hit show when other networks want to take risks to copy your success. In a bid to catch some of the “Game of Thrones” hype, Netflix is throwing resources behind a series based on “The Witcher”. Before it was a very successful video game series, “The Witcher” is a collection of Polish short stories and novels. Filling the role of the suave problem solver is none other than modern day Superman, Henry Cavill. Now, if they can fill the rest of the cast without any backlash, that would be great……..what are they doing for Ciri? Nevermind.
What if I told you there is a new Orson Wells movie coming out? Apparently, there was a lot of film shot for “The Other Side of The Wind” throughout the 70s that was just laying around after Wells passing in 1985. Netflix to the rescue! They cut a deal with the estate to edit and finish the film. “The Other Side of the Wind” is a movie about a director that is creating a movie but unfortunately dies half way through production. What an odd coincidence.
