The success of Wonder Woman has prompted a sequel. This is great news for fans of the DC Universe as well as the director of the first Wonder Woman film, Patty Jenkins. She has official signed back on to the franchise, all be it, 3 months after the release of the first film. That contract negotiation must have been pretty easy. The next Wonder Woman movie will see the introduction of her arch nemesis, Cheetah, portrayed by Kristen Wiig.
Apparently some of the cash Red Granite Pictures used to make the film, The Wolf of Wallstreet, was stolen from a Malaysian state investment fund. The company’s co-founder, Riza Aziz, is the stepson of the country’s prime minister, Najib Razak, and he’s been implicated in the crime. To me, this just makes sense, in an ironic way.
