A group of investors, led by businesswoman Maria Contreras-Sweet, said Thursday that it has revived a potential deal to buy the assets of the film and TV studio, The Weisnstein Company. The Company has been hit hard by lawsuits stemming from the sexual assault and harassment allegations against its deposed CEO, Harvey Weinstein.
And finally, good news for Marvel fans. We are going to get Avengers : Infinity War sooner than we hoped. The movies release date has been moved up to April 27th. This is a smart, money making decision from the studio as this gives Avengers, Star Wars : Solo and Deadpool 2 more room to breathe. This is a win win for all involved.
