Episode 9 of the Star Wars saga will have a new director very soon. The former man at the helm, Colin Trevorrow, has been fired after his movie, “The Book of Henry” flopped at the theaters. The reason Trevorrow was brought on in the first place was thanks to his vision with the Jurassic World movie. You could see the attraction of his skills to the Disney people thanks to his ability to keep within the borders of a set universe while expanding and telling a new story. Some reports from behind the scenes indicate that Trevorrow was becoming difficult to work with.
Now I am not a fan of horror and scary movies. The rebooted “It” is not a movie I will see willingly but I have to admit, it looks good. Currently sitting at 88% on Rotten Tomatoes, the crazy clown flick is certainly attracting a lot of attention. Last year, I am sure we all remember the reports of the pranksters dressing up as creepy clowns, doing odd things. Thanks to “It”, now towns in the U.S. are trying to figure out who is putting red balloons in storm drains. Pranksters or smart marketing?
