Every once in a while, humanity shines a little brighter and this is a great example of how that happens.
An anonymous Connecticut man became a hero when he asked a cop if he needed a ride. Norwich police officers Matthew Seidel and Michael Krodel pulled over a car after getting a call about a road rage incident. That’s when the suspect decided to flee on foot.
The cops took off after the suspect and when a driver saw Officer Siedel running, he offered him a ride.
The lift led to the arrest of 27-year-old Duane Crawford, who is facing driving a motor vehicle while under suspension, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, interfering with police and second-degree breach of peace charges. The good Samaritan remains unidentified.
