Debra Messing says her new series "Smash," which debuts tonight on C-T-V and Sunday on N-B-C, reminds her of the reasons she became an actress in the first place. The musical series delves into the highs and lows of Broadway. Messing says she dreamed of performing in musicals as a kid and is blown away by the musical talent involved in "Smash."

Billy Crystal continues to prepare for hosting duties at the 84th annual Academy Awards on February 26th. He won't say what he has in store for the show.

It wasn't that long ago that Daniel Radcliffe was a schoolboy in the "Harry Potter'' movies. Now, he's playing the father of a four-year-old boy in his first post-Harry film, "The Woman in Black.'' Radcliffe says "Potter'' fans may find it a bit strange.
