Now - February 24: A beginers class is currently running from Friday January 27 and it ends on February 24th. Every Friday from 6:30 to 7:30. There are only 6 of us in the class, 3 men and 3 women,  but what a wonderful dance class.  Fantastic teacher!  Her name is Eileen Barrientos and she is from Costa Rica.  Her and her husband and two children just moved to PG in the new year. She has 15 years of Flamenco dancing experience. If there is more interest in Flamenco dancing the Latino Association will run more classes.
Judy Rusell is running a flamenco workshop this Saturday, then beginner Flamenco classess, here is the info http://www.judyrussellpresents.com/paradigm.swd/miscfiles/February%20Newsletter%202012.pdf. We need more interest because although Flamenco is huge all over the world and in large cities of Canada, PG is just behind the times and it is a shame because Flamenco is such a beautiful dance with so much history behind it. And all of the sudden we have this wonderful Flamenco teacher so we need the numbers.  Latino-Canadian Association of Northern BC, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
