More trouble in the DC Universe. Joss Whedon has stepped down as director for the hoped “Batgirl” movie. According to Whedon, the excitement and enthusiasm for the movie was great but ultimately, they just didn’t have a story or a script. So, instead of searching and holding the position, he decided to step down and make room for another director to take over. That person could be Zack Snyder as he has expressed interest in the project. Snyder is already elbows deep in the DC movie scene as well as being the mind behind “300” and “The Watchmen”.
Quincy Jones had a wild interview recently where he went on record to talk about Michael Jackson, The Beatles and Marlon Brando, just to name a few. He has since apologized for his remarks and called them “wordvomit”. He was made aware of his verbal gaffs thanks to a family intervention. Thank goodness he has someone watching over him.
