Well it’s good news/bad news from the movie world. The good news is, Deadpool 2 is going to hit theaters sooner that we thought. It’s release date was moved up 2 weeks, from June 1st to May 18th. This puts the Merc with the Mouth movie 1 week after Infinity War and 2 weeks before the Star Wars : Solo Movie. And here is where the bad news comes in. According to an inside source, the studio doesn’t have a lot of confidence in the Han Solo stand alone flick. The schedule shuffle clears the road for movie goers to have the choice to attend Star Wars without any residual connection to the Marvel Universe. This makes sense as the Marvel/Disney/Fox deal is getting closer and closer to completion.
Mark Walberg got a heavy payday, replacing Kevin Spacey in the movie “All the money in the world”. 1.5 Million dollars to do the reshoots and remove Spacey from the movie. This comes as a little bit of a shock as Michelle Williams, also staring in the movie, was only paid 80 dollars a day for the same reshoots. That seems oddly tasteless at this point in time.
